Fruitask Notes

A clean, block‑based document editor for writing notes, docs, and wikis — with publishing and AI writing assistance.

Overview

Fruitask Notes is a modern writing space where each document is built from blocks (paragraphs, headings, lists, images, and more). Notes support rich formatting, reliable undo/redo, full‑text search, and one‑click publishing to a public web page. You can also get AI help with drafting and editing.

Key capabilities

Writing & formatting

  • Block‑based editing: headings, paragraphs, bullet/numbered lists, checklists, quotes, code, dividers, images, and more.
  • Give each note an icon and title for easy recognition.
  • Undo / redo that behaves predictably — changes are grouped sensibly and scoped to the note you’re editing, so undo never pulls in content from a different note.

Organization & search

  • Keep notes organized within your workspace.
  • In‑page search to quickly find text within a long note, with match highlighting.
  • Link a note to a Calendar event so meeting notes live alongside the meeting.

Publishing

  • Publish a note as a public, read‑only web page you can share with anyone via a link.
  • Published pages include their own in‑page search so readers can find content quickly.
  • Unpublish at any time to take the page offline.

AI assistance

  • Use AI to help draft, summarize, or rewrite content.
  • AI can run on Fruitask‑provided credits or with your own OpenAI, Gemini, or Claude API key (set in account AI settings).

Where to find it

Open Notes from the workspace navigation, create a new note, and start typing. Use the “/” style block tools and the formatting controls while editing. Use the publish action to make a note public.

Requirements & access

  • You must be signed in to create and edit notes.
  • Publishing makes a note readable by anyone with the link — no account required to read.
  • AI features require either available Fruitask AI credits or your own API key configured in Account → AI settings.

Limits & notes

  • Published notes are read‑only for the public; only editors in the workspace can change the source note.
  • Fruitask‑provided AI usage is metered and resets monthly; heavy users can switch to their own API key to avoid limits.

Tips

  • Use headings and checklists to keep long documents skimmable.
  • Publish FAQs, policies, or release notes as public pages and link them from chat or email.
  • If you write a lot with AI, add your own API key for higher throughput.
