Message teammates one\u2011on\u2011one or in a workspace\u2011wide conversation, share files, react with emoji, reply in threads, and jump into a call \u2014 without leaving Fruitask.<\/p>\n<h2>Key capabilities<\/h2>\n<h3>Conversations<\/h3>\n<ul>\n<li><strong>Direct messages<\/strong> between two people.<\/li>\n<li><strong>Workspace conversations<\/strong> for the whole team in a workspace.<\/li>\n<li>See <strong>who\u2019s online<\/strong> and their status (online, away, busy, be\u2011right\u2011back, offline, and more).<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<h3>Messaging<\/h3>\n<ul>\n<li>Send <strong>text messages<\/strong>, <strong>files<\/strong>, and <strong>GIFs<\/strong>.<\/li>\n<li><strong>Emoji reactions<\/strong> on messages.<\/li>\n<li><strong>Reply<\/strong> to a specific message for context.<\/li>\n<li><strong>Edit<\/strong> your messages after sending.<\/li>\n<li>System messages mark important events in a conversation.<\/li>\n<li>Attachments can be uploaded as <strong>public or private<\/strong> files and are stored in your account storage (see Fruitask Storage).<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<h3>Calls &#038; presence<\/h3>\n<ul>\n<li>Start <strong>audio\/video calls<\/strong> from a conversation.<\/li>\n<li>Live <strong>presence<\/strong> shows who is active.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<h3>Moderation &#038; privacy<\/h3>\n<ul>\n<li><strong>Block users<\/strong> to stop receiving direct messages from them.<\/li>\n<li>Chat access is controlled by workspace permissions, so admins can decide who may <strong>preview<\/strong> conversations and who may <strong>send<\/strong> messages.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<h2>Where to find it<\/h2>\n<p>Open <strong>Chat<\/strong> from the workspace navigation (or the chat icon).
