Fruitask Calendar: Your All-in-One Scheduling Solution
Welcome to the future of scheduling with the Fruitask Calendar! This full-featured calendar is designed to seamlessly integrate into your workspace, making it easier than ever to manage events, meetings, reminders, and public bookings—all in one place. Whether you’re coordinating with teammates or organizing a public event, Fruitask Calendar has you covered.
Overview
The Fruitask Calendar allows you to create and manage events with ease across day, week, and month views. You can set up one-off or recurring events, add reminders, invite attendees, host online meetings, and even welcome public bookings from individuals outside your workspace. With flexible privacy settings, you can keep your calendar private, share it with collaborators, or connect to external calendars for optimal usability.
Key Capabilities
Events
- Create custom events with a title, description, location, date/time, and color.
- Choose between all-day events or timed events that have specific start and end times.
- Enhance your events with an image cover: attach up to 4 media files—images, GIFs, or videos—either by uploading or pasting links (with a maximum of 50 MB per file).
- Organize events into categories that can be grouped and color-coded (e.g., Meeting, Personal), including categories shared from other calendars.
- Utilize visibility settings to mark events as public, private, or busy.
- Link your events to Fruitask Notes to add richer context.
Recurrence
- Set up recurring events to repeat daily, weekly, monthly, or yearly with customizable intervals (e.g., every two weeks).
- Target specific days of the week for weekly events.
- Easily end a series of events on a specific date or after a designated number of occurrences.
- Cancel or reinstate a single occurrence without impacting the rest of the series.
Reminders & Attendees
- Add reminders to notify you a set number of minutes before the event, delivered via notification, email, or both.
- Invite attendees by email or select from your workspace collaborators; they can respond with statuses of Accepted, Declined, or Tentative. The organizer is tracked automatically.
Online Meetings
- Enable online meeting functionality to auto-generate a Fruitask Meet link for the event or attach a link from other providers like Google Meet, Zoom, or Teams.
Public Booking
- Transform a calendar into a public booking page, allowing individuals to self-schedule into your available time slots. You can set options like available hours, buffer time, daily booking limits, and weekend rules.
- Collect booker details and custom intake questions; these bookings will appear as events for you to confirm, cancel, or complete.
Sharing & Sync
- Share calendars with collaborators in different capacities: Viewer, Editor, or Admin.
- Import events from an .ics or iCalendar file to sync up seamlessly.
- Optional Google Calendar connection for syncing events across platforms.
- Enjoy timezone-aware functionality to ensure events display correctly across different regions.
Where to Find It
Access the Calendar feature directly from your workspace navigation. You can switch views among Day, Week, or Month. Create new events by clicking on a time slot or using the “New event” action. To view or edit existing events, simply click on them.
Requirements & Access
To use the Fruitask Calendar, you must be signed in and a member of the workspace that owns the calendar. Please note that:
- Creating/editing events requires Editor or Admin access; Viewers can only see events but cannot modify them.
- Public booking pages and shared calendars can be accessed by outside guests through their designated links.
Limits & Notes
- Each event can have up to 4 cover media files, with each file being a maximum of 50 MB; accepted formats include images, GIFs, and videos.
- Cover files will be saved to your Fruitask Storage.
- An event’s end time must always follow its start time.
- Reminder emails require email delivery settings to be configured for the calendar/workspace.
Tips for Optimum Usage
- Utilize categories and colors to make a busy calendar visually scannable at a glance.
- Add a cover image to significant events (like launches or webinars) so they stand out on your calendar.
- For client scheduling, publish a booking page instead of engaging in back-and-forth email communication.
The Fruitask Calendar is more than just a scheduling tool; it’s your partner in efficiency and organization. Experience the ease of managing your time and resources more effectively, providing visibility to teams, and welcoming public engagements—all designed for your success.
